Below is a short video clip of my latest drawing done on 135gsm paper, A2 in size. I used numerous different pencils, including 7B, 3B, 2B, HB, B and 2H shadings. What I mostly aimed to achieve was the realistic texture of the elephants' skin...

Pencil Sketch - Work In Progress Leopard Close Up

This drawing took me approximately 30 hours to draw. It's on an A2 (420mm X 570mm) size 135g/sqm sheet of paper. The pencils I used are all lead pencils, varying from 2H to 4B....

My Oil Paintings

After drawing for a good few years I decided to attempt my ability to paint in oils...

Below are the only three oil paintings I've done, the lower two being copies of other artists works, while the top one (Beach scene) is my own origional done on a 1.5M x 1M Canvass recently. Personally it is a lot more frustrating to paint than it is to draw, as the majority of the time one is spending mixing paints to get the desired colours, and then it only takes a minute or two to apply it.

Although I'm getting the hang of it...I guess practice makes perfect.

I am a passionate Pencil Artist that has been drawing for over 25 years. The process of turning the surface of a blank sheet of paper into an illusion that the viewer considers impressive and real simultaneously is what both fascinates and drives me forward. Drawing gives me the opportunity to delve deeply into my subject. As an artist, I observe my surroundings as a creator and architect of my own artistic vision. I have never been interested in simplification - on the contrary it’s the detail, contrast, expression and reflection that drives me to spend countless hours on a drawing.

Photographic and Video Editing

Using ordinary photographs, I can convert them into a video with special effects, personal text, commentry and background/theme music of your choice to make it personal for just the right time to give to a loved one. The photos can be of anything, and instead of paging through an album, why not watch them with special personalized effects in a video.

If anyone has memorable photographs of their lives (weddings, parties, holidays, childhood etc), I can convert those into a meaningful video (I've experienced the proof of it with a mothersday gift!)

This is a couple of short clips of the full video I have been asked to make from array of photographs taken by a touring party visiting the United Arab Emirates from Portugal.

The FULL Video is about 10 minutes long, and it was well received by the touring party.
